Unexpected Anniversary

On a sweet note my most kind husband said to me this morning being April 18, 2023 Happy 8 1/2 Wedding anniversary, which would also be 9 1/2 years of knowing each other🥰👩‍❤️‍👨🥰.  I can’t believe that I totally forgot that was today, as I’m such a numbers person, so even half anniversaries can mean something to us.  With things being so hard lately with my gut, and mental wise for me and my own struggles, as well has my husband’s own struggle it makes sense why I would forget, so I am so glad Nathan remembered ❤️😍🥰👩‍❤️‍👨🥰😍❤️

That’s one thing that has not changed these 8 ½ and 9 ½ years that I’ve known my husband is how very supportive, loving, sweet, generous, understanding, silly, and so very kind he is.  If anything I think all those things have grown even more.  I know he used to get easily stressed, and I’m not saying he doesn’t now, but I find he lets things go more then he used to, and I so appreciate that, as unfortunately at this point I get easily triggered by my own emotions in that can cause deep depression and also intense anxiety.

So for my Love Love as I sometimes call him, to surprise me by remembering it’s our 8 ½ wedding anniversary made my day.  When you are mentally down majority of the time, it’s these little things that truly make the difference.

So with that, I am hoping and praying as things have been hard, that by our 9 and 9 1/2 year anniversary, we'll be doing much better by Our Elohim (God’s) healing.

So I decided to go to the grocery store and I took a coupon off the Miss Vickie's bag, that was a buy 2 get $2 off when you bought it.  As I wanted the coupon for later down the road, and I felt like taking it even though I wasn't buying any chips.

But there was a part of me that felt guilty about that, as I felt like it would still be considered stealing, since it wasn't my coupon to start with when I didn’t buy a bag of chips that had it on it.

So I was feeling bad about that, so I put it back, but hehe I decided to put the coupon on a bag of our favourite flavour of Miss Vickie’s Spicy Ketchup Chips which were in the back, in case I might get it for us later when I actually want to buy chippies for my hubby and I at another time.

So after that I started to look for a nice little dessert for my hubby and I for our anniversary and I found some truffles that looked interesting.  So when I ended up deciding to buy the Truffles for my sweets as I calls him sometimes and I, it turned out that the price on the shelf was wrong compared to the bill price, so to my surprise I ended up getting them for free!!

I think the enemy was trying to tempt me, as I've been bad about giving into temptation, so I'm glad I ended up putting the coupon back, as I realized I was doing the right thing,

It was pretty cool how that just happened to work out with getting the free Truffles on our 8 1/2 yrs. wedding anniversary for my hubby and I.

We ended up trying 2 flavours since I got one of them for free, bother the Hazelnut as well as the Classic Truffles and found that the Classic Truffles ones were a little yummier than the Hazelnut Truffles ones, but it was fun and so nice to being able to try different ones to know more of what we like.

I thanked my Elohim for helping me with temptation, as that can be a tricky and difficult thing to deal with at times, especially when you are struggles a lot to start with in life, as you often don’t have the same capacity to resist things, though not impossible.

But often doing the right thing can help you feel more better in the end, and of course Elohim (God) can help you with other types of temptations if you let Him,

but as a bonus after, it always fun by chance to getting some free Truffles 😉.

I enjoyed making our anniversary meal, by having fun listening to music and singing along with it while I made the salads and grilled cheese sandwiches.

We quite enjoyed our anniversary meal together, but more to just enjoying the time together, instead of stressing about all the things that are trying to plaque you, does make a difference, as it helps the stress just go away. So I was glad to enjoy this unexpected anniversary day today my hubby brought up in the first place🥰👩‍❤️‍👨🥰.

On a fun random note, as I said before I do like numbers, my loving husband also mentioned another reason he remembered and was thinking of Today's 8 1/2 anniversary, was because my year is 85, so it's like 8.5, which is like 85, so it made him think of me, sooo sweet❤️.

I thanked my Elohim that you would remind my incredible hubby of that for me.   I think I needed this unexpected half anniversary, as it keeps reminding me, of the important things like my Love Love, and where I want to get to, and that resisting things are important on helping me getting better.

It’s important to appreciate the little things in life, and that doing good things, like avoiding giving into temptation will help you in the long run, and Elohim (God) can be there to help you with those things.

1 Corinthians 10:13     No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation He will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

Here’s a good love song about what one would do for another for love and would fight for your honour and would do it all for the glory of love and it was also from the 2nd Karate Kid movie.
